Oluwadara Johnson Treseder

Oluwadara Johnson Treseder, CEO at NeuBridges

Oluwadara combines a deep understanding of West African markets with rich hands-on experience helping organizations enter and build profitable businesses in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Before founding NeuBridges, Oluwadara drove strategic growth efforts at Goldman Sachs, Apple, and Lifeforte.

Oluwadara graduated with highest honors in African and African American Studies from Harvard University. She also holds a Masters in Business Administration from Stanford University.

Oliver Guinness

Oliver Guinness, Managing Director, Clearpoint Ventures

Clearpoint Ventures has assembled a network of innovative entrepreneurs, limited partners, co-investors and industry leaders to actively collaborate in building high growth, clean economy companies. They consider themselves entrepreneurs, and invest personal capital alongside the business LPs. Prior to Clearpoint, Oliver developed a for-profit telecom company and related training program in South America with funding from the World Bank and USAID, and directed business development for a Silicon Valley startup that raised $13MM from Credit Suisse. Oliver started his career working in corporate finance at Merrill Lynch and Greyrock Capital, where he focused on growth stage companies.

Alastair Curtis

Alastair Curtis, Uber Nigeria

International Launcher for Uber = hustler, quasi-lawyer, networker, pricing analyst, data cruncher, trainer, traveler, therapist, baller, salesman, marketer, negotiator, quality controller, event planner and recruiter. These are one-word descriptions of Alastair.

Previously at Shaya Technologies, a military security consultancy, he came in to head up the commercial operations of two products in the start-up phase alongside the CEO. He incubates the businesses through their early stage with the ambition to disrupt with innovative business models.

Bill Tarr

Bill Tarr, Partner at Aquillian

Bill is a partner at Aquillian where he focuses on business development, capital raising, deal sourcing, and strategic partnership building. Since 2004, Bill has developed an extensive network comprised of institutional and family investors, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders in clean technology and sustainable natural resources.Before founding Aquillian, Bill was a management consultant with Origo Global Business Partners. Prior to Origo, Bill was a program director for New Sector Alliance, an Accenture backed management consulting firm. Before working in management consulting, Bill was the business development and product marketing manager for Octopus Software, where he orchestrated a $200 Million acquisition opportunity by a top six software company.

David Ullenius

David Ullenius, Investment Director, Proventus

Proventus Capital Partners was set up in 2009, to provide a powerful and meaningful source of development capital for midsize European companies. Proventus Capital Partners is an active financial and strategic partner. The first Proventus Capital Partners structure was launched in 2009, raised €216m, with Proventus AB the largest investor, and was fully invested within 18 months. Proventus Capital Partners II raised EUR600m and closed in June 2011.
