BidiiBuild Selected for Next 100 African StartupsPan-African construction startup BidiiBuild, has been selected to be part of the Next 100 African Startups initiative in Egypt.
The International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Egyptian Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation (MIIC), selected MEST Portfolio Company BidiiBuild to be part of the Next 100 African Startups initiative.
BidiiBuild will have the opportunity to participate in the Africa 2018 Forum in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, on December 7-9 and connect with senior government officials, including Head of States, international financial institutions, and potential investors.
BidiiBuild’s selection was based on specific criteria, vetted by the Selection Committee which took country, sector and gender diversification into consideration.
"The construction industry is one of the pillars of our society as infrastructure helps us live better, travel more conveniently and gives us our livelihoods. Construction companies in Africa struggle in delivering successful projects as they don’t have tools that help check on their processes, refining them and making sure they can deliver and be profitable in all their projects regardless of scope.”
“BidiiBuild wants to help these hardworking builders seamlessly track their project costs and project progress live from anywhere in the world. The chapter of expensive site tours and project runaway costs is over as you will be in control of things from the onset." says Kelvin Wachira, co-founder and CEO of BidiiBuild.
The well-tailored and comprehensive two-day program for the selected 100 startups will allow the founder to most effectively showcase their work, and facilitate value-added networking with the key stakeholders participating in the Forum as well as their participation in specialised workshops.
BidiiBuild is an enterprise software startup that is focused on building simple and powerful software tools that help African contractors/developers complete their projects on time and on budgets. We help them build your dreams.
Construction companies and developers will be able to seamlessly track and monitor their resources and project activities from one platform.
